Reginald Johnson - Managing Member
Reginald's role at Greater Pointe involves overseeing real estate development projects from start to finish. He has over 30 years of experience focusing on consumer and commercial banking, acquisition, syndication, financial modeling, and portfolio management. Throught his career, he has managed multi-million dollar portfolios and budgets. With his expertise and problem-solving abilities, he ensures that each project is completed with precision and excellence. Reginald has a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University and a Masters of Business Administration from Ashland University.
Team Member Brian Higgins
Team member Brian Higgins is an urban entrepreneuer and Principle of Arch City Development consulting firm. Arch City has developed over 250 units of affordable and market rate housing, conducted dozens of market research studies,worked with a multitude of community-based non-profits, and provided technical assistance on behalf of the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development. Arch City also contracts with the Parsons Avenue Redevelopment Corporation to lead the revitalization efforts on that commercial corridor.
Previous to creating Arch City Development, Brian spent eight years as a Program Director at Enterprise Community Partners’ Columbus office, where he specialized in housing development, foreclosure mitigation, environmental sustainability, economic development, brownfield redevelopment, public policy, transportation, land use planning, data analysis and information technology. His efforts have led to the realization of over $200 million in projects. Prior to joining Enterprise, Brian spent a decade working for a neighborhood-based community development corporation, he founded and ran a business association in Downtown Columbus designed specifically to leverage capital improvement dollars, engaged in neighborhood-based grantwriting, and worked as a financial analyst for Cardinal Health. Brian has also served on several local work groups and committees, including the board of the Healthy Neighborhoods HealthyFamilies Realty Collaborative with Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
He has served as co-editor for two national publications, helped establish the Center for Urban Research and Analysis at The Ohio State University and was editor/graphicdesigner for a community newspaper with a circulation of 6,000.
Brian earned his Master’s Degreein City and Regional Planning in 2000and his undergraduate degree in International Studies with minors in Urban Geography and Russian in 1995, both from The Ohio State University. He was also inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who in 2023, recognized by Columbus Business First as one of the Power 100 in 2022, Columbus CEO’s Future 50 in 2022, Central Ohio’s 40 Under 40 in 2012, and is certified in LEED for Neighborhood Development
Team Member Sarah Higgins
Sarah serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Arch City Development, a real estate development company that provides a variety of research and public outreach services to bridge the communication gaps that can challenge public-private partnerships. Arch City Development combines the best ideas and practices of the past with today’s innovations. Sarah is responsible for the management, coordination and oversight of development projects. This is in addition to other projects and duties related to the overall development initiative.
Sarah attended The Ohio State University and is an Advanced Certified Occupancy Specialist and Multi-Family Housing Specialist. Prior to joining Arch City Development, Sarah worked as the Senior Compliance and Service Manager of Healthy Homes, a nonprofit housing organization and collaboration between Community Development for All People and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She was responsible for the management, coordination and oversight of Healthy Homes and South Side Renaissance projects to ensure that all tenants, upon admission and annually thereafter, met residency requirements with respect to income and entitlement verification. Over 400 affordable housing units have been added or improved since Healthy Homes began, representing an investment of nearly $39 million. Sarah worked on the Healthy Homes initiative from January of 2018 to February of 2024. Prior to that, she oversaw housing development for Integrated Servies for Behavioral Health affordable housing initiative. Sarah also has a background in affordable housing property management and design.
